Fully Automated Air-Conditioning

This is a system which must absolutely be used in the closed system poultry houses with a capacity of more than 60.000 birds. It provides a homogenous ventilation, cooling and humidity control in poultry houses. While it controls the temperature in the poultry house, it also satisfies the minimum and maximum air need of the birds.
The major feature of the fully automated ventilation system is that all of the in-house air circulation is controlled by PLC (Computerised System). PLC system shows the individual temperatures of the right front, right back, left front and left back and middle of the poultry house.
The system comprises of a fan, pad, pump, water tank and an automation panel which controls them all in accordance with the climatic conditions in the region. The number of fans and pads required is determined by the number of the birds in the building. Fans and pads are positioned according to the condition of the building. In the system, there is a flap damper in the building for the adjustment of air intake. In the system, the temperature in the poultry house is transferred to the automation panel by means of thermometers positioned at different places in the poultry house. In accordance with the incoming data, the automation panel controls the fans to discharge the polluted air from the poultry house and controls the flaps and dampers to allow an adequate amount of fresh air to come in. In the fully automated system, the opening angle of the flaps and dampers is determined by the automation panel. Depending on the season, only ventilation or ventilation-cooling is provided. Cooling is provided by the use of the pads. The fresh air taken in from the outside of the poultry house is passed through the pads while being transferred to the interior. Thanks to the pipes on the pads, water is delivered into the pads. The air is laden with the moisture in the water while it passes through the pads and cools down and enters the poultry house in a cooled manner. Cold air is directed to the roof by means of the flaps and dampers. As the cold air is heavy, it moves towards the lower tiers of the cage and enters in. Thus, fresh and cool air is delivered to all the parts of the poultry house. This is called the sprinkling system. There is an audible and lighted alarm system for any problems which may occur in the ventilation system.
